Edward P. Bishop diary, 1852-1895 (bulk 1858-1865).

The collection consists of a diary of Edward P. Bishop from 1852, 1858-1865 describing the planting and harvesting of various crops, including grapes, on his farm. The volume also contains some recipes; notes on various crops including sweet potatoes, indigo cultivation, and irish potatoes; and a few diary entries of his daughter Mary Carleton Bishop Talmadge (1895).
